Instead of using the RB 1080 as a 2 channel amp, you can "bridge" both 200wpc amps and use it as a single channel amp at 360wpc. Thsi is usually accomplished using a slide lever or something on the back of the amp.

and do I want an amp that is bridgeable?

It gives you some upgradability I guess in case you ever want to go Xtreme . You'd need another amp to go 2 channel, of course. I think most amps in the range you are looking at would be bridgable, but not an expert in separates.
Well...I guess I'm not an expert in COMBO's either...just trying to be a helpful dumbass!
