Can I connect another dvd player into a dvd/receiver/amp combo? (1 Viewer)

I have a Sony DAV-900 home theater system. I want to purchase a multi-region dvd player. What I need to know is can I connect the multi-region dvd player into my sony dav-900 so that I can access the surround sound? I have attached a link to the setup I have. If someone who knows more about this kind of stuff can take the time to look over it and help me it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You don't have to plug something into the assigned port. Just plug it in wherever you havea free input and assign a digital port to that input. Read your reciever manual
