The Bob Clark directed horror movie Black Christmas (1974) is coming to Blu-ray in Japan february 3, 2015.

Hope they'll use more of the disc space for this release. The US Blu had a puny file size. I'll order it and hope for the best I understand that nothing much can be improved as the film was shot on 16 mm (correct me if I'm wrong). But I'm sure there's room for improvement.Just look at the latest Blu release of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre...

My US disc of Black Christmas had the most appalling lip synch issues so I had to get rid of it .
Japanese discs are usually over priced but we'll see how much it is on release.
How silly to release it 2 months after Xmas

You're right, the Japanese disc is way over priced.
Hope the price will come down a bit when it's time to order.

I too wondered about releasing a christmas movie in february. What are they thinking?
