B&K Setup software problem (1 Viewer)

I installed the B&K setup software, made the connector etc to my 307. When I start to run it, it says it found an AVR307 on Com1. Then says it's "interrogating device". This goes on for about 20 minutes before I close the program. Is it normal to take that long?
Am I missing a wire connection or something?
This is on a laptop w/o any other com devices (like a Palm).

I have experienced intermittent problems with the software. A full power down and it's back in business. It really acts more like a computer every day.
BTW, what baud rate does it connect at? I set mine to 115,000, and it works great (usually).

Thanks. I'll try that when I get home. I hope that is it. I keep forgetting that it may need a re-boot once in a while. I rebooted the laptop just not the 307. I did have it on 9600 and then changed to 115k with the same results each time.
