I love my shakers. They rock the house (er, couch)! I have a large room so it takes a lot to fill it, actually too much, the neighbors would kill me if I ever really cranked it up with powerful bass. I even have a decent yard and brick walls, but the family room/home theater is real open, probably over 1000 sqft, so to get that "in your pants" effect from a sub would be crazy loud. Soo, I put 3 shakers in the couch and one under each recliner (5 total). The effect always raises eyebrows when I have people over...Turn them off and it sounds good, but they just add soo much. If you want to really appreciate them, give The Haunting a listen. WOW, that movie was made for shakers (the plot was so so, but the shakers take it to a new level..)

Will these get damaged if fed by a 80watt amplifier ? (the recommended wattage is 25 watt).
