Audio Drop Outs-DV 2800 Why? (1 Viewer)

Hi Guy's, I'm a newbie and I've encountered a problem lately in that every now and then while playing recent release rentals I notice there are audio dropouts. I haven't noticed it with older DVD's. It happens while playing Dolby Digital on the Denon DV 2800 which is connected optically to the A/V 4800. I did the firmware upgrade and the problem seemed to start then. But, I remember there was discussion about the Onkyo having a drop out problem and if I remember correctly it was concluded that the software was the problem. I would appreciate shared experience and solutions. Thanks.
