Okay...I'm going to scurry down to my local Circuit City and snatch one of these things for $999.00. After downloading and reading the owners manual, I see that you can connect a DVD player using the component connections OR a Hi Def Tuner.
Our cable company will be offering Digital cable in the near future.......so, here's my question:
With only one set of component inputs on the set, is it possible to connect a digital cable box or Satellite receiver AND a DVD player using a switcher box?
I realize you would have to turn off the HD cable box or the satellite receiver when you watch the DVD, and vise versa. I figure they make "A-B" switcher for pretty much everything now..it would sure beat plugging and unplugging cables in the back of the TV set.
Is this a reasonable possibility? And, do they make such an item?
