AMC not listing SHOUT AT THE DEVIL as letterbox for the 26th (1 Viewer)

TV GUIDE reports it as letterboxed, with a runtime of 2 hrs 15 minutes. I'll be taping (or I should say, retaping, as I missed the last five minutes or so last time it was on).

Good news--the 2am EST airing on Thu morning 9/27 is skedded as letterboxed in the GUIDE; 8pm Wed night is pan/scan. So tape away in the wee hours and enjoy ENTERPRISE on its first run.

The Widescreen Movie Center has a "Letterboxed Movies on TV" schedule (Link Removed) that is close to infallible, except when the stations themselves err or make substitutions. Worth bookmarking (and, yes, an LTXed SHOUT AT THE DEVIL is there for 9/27).

Here is what AMC just sent me in reply to my question...

Dear Viewer: Thank you for your recent email. We would like to inform you that the film "Shout At The Devil" is scheduled to air on September 26th at 8:00PM EST and again at 2:00AM (27th) in LETTERBOX.

To me, that could mean the 8 PM is, or is not letterboxed! I am going to assume it is not. They need to word their responses more carefuly.

Generally speaking, AMC runs theie movies in primetime in reformatted for 4x3 and then rerun the feature late night (or early morning) in letterbox.
Their website used to indicate on the schedule which version was going to be aired, but have since removed that information.
