Alexa keeps identifying my new Yamaha receiver as an "Other" device rather than a "Speaker" device (1 Viewer)

I have a Yamaha RX-6A and a Yamaha RX-V683. The RX-6A works fine with Alexa but RX-V683 will not play music via Alexa commands because Alexa sees it as a room and not a speaker (like my RX-6A). I have ran the MusicCast setup for Alexa (several times) and both devices are registered in the MusicCast app. The RX-V683 always is seen by Alexa as Other
