    Yeah, I was going to solve it all together and get the 8300HD box which has the optical, but time warner wont do it until I get a HDTV, go figure. Either a converter/adapter or this CD input will probably work. I appreciate ya'll taking time to look at it. Eric

    I do remember seeing that "CD input" above the optical inputs. I'll try that, I did not think that was an option, great. I was just going to upgrade to the 8300HD box BUT they said they won't do it b/c I do not have a HDTV, yet. THANK YOU!
