wow... I literally have an amp in my cart in the Outlaw website but this has sent a chill my way. This is too much money to spend and get such poor service. I suppose I’ll start looking elsewhere...maybe Emotiva.
Hello!
I have an Epson HC4010 in a room where I have some, but not complete control over ambient light. I am trying to decide between the Carl's ALR material (I'd build my own frame) or the Silver Ticket silver-colored screen (a kit that requires assembly). Does anyone have any experience with...
I wonder how this compares to Emotiva service. I am looking at Emotiva and Outlaw and this may weigh in on my decision... (Outlaw does seem to offer more bang for the buck, however).
Thank you! I think I will go with the 4700 and buy an external amp. This will also allow me a future upgrade path for a better processor/receiver since the amp should hopefully last quite a bit longer than the processor/receiver.

That was another benefit to doing the 4700. Using a 4700 plus that Outlaw 5000 is less money than the 6700. Thing is, if the 6700 had some slam-dunk feature (aside from two extra amps), I don't mind spending.
My 7.1 base layer is all SVS Ultra (ultra towers, ultra center, ultra surrounds). My sub is also a very large SVS. The 4 Atmos speakers are Yamaha NCIS800WH.
Hello all!
I’d like some thoughts on a decision I’m making. I can get a Denon avr-x6700h for $2,500 that has 11 channels of built-in amplification. This would be enough to power my 7.1.4 system with a single box. On the other hand, I can purchase a Denon avr-x4700h With 9 internal amps for...
That’s part of the reason I was looking at the 6700. My setup is 7.1.4 or 7.1.6 depending on which way I go. The 6700 would power up to 4 Atmos speakers. The more I think about it, the more I think the 6700 is overkill for my purposes.
Yes. I’m installing the Atmos speakers in the ceiling. That’s another reason I’m doin my best to make a solid choice... once I cut those holes... I don’t have the skill to patch them up If I decide to go with 4 Atmos.
Also, the price disparity between the 4700 and 6700 is quite a lot at $800...
I’m deliberating between installing 4 or 6 Atmos speakers in my dedicated 13x18 theater room. The bigger picture here is, this decision will also help me decide whether to purchase a Denon 6700 (13 channels) or the $800 cheaper 4700 (11 channels). Does anyone know if there’s an appreciable...
Hello all. I have all of my equipment in a remote location in my 7.1 channel home theater. When I designed my home, I didn't want any components in plain view so I wired it all to a closet and I control it all via an infrared sensor/repeater system over CAT5. The only thing visible is my 55"...
