I doubt it. Transformers the Movie is going to require a separate license to release that movie because it's not considered as part of the television series, where the licensing is concerned and Shout is going to have to acquire a separate license to release the movie to DVD.
I doubt they would release the movie. But, I think I'm going to start looking for a copy of that DVD. I know that some retailers still have them in stock.
Roger, I never trust anything they list at TV.com. I just don't consider them a verifiable source of information. While Wikipedia isn't much better, they do have a list of all of the episodes for the series. G.I. Joe ended with Season 2, at least the class animated series did. There were future...
Awesome news. G.I. Joe, final 30 episodes, to get released in a single DVD set. This is awesome:

Good news. Transformers Season 3 and Season 4, the final 33 episodes, will be released in a single boxed set:

Oh, please, I hope Shout Factory does the same thing with G.I. Joe. I know there are close to around 30 episodes in...
Tell me about it. I've been waiting for Amazon to put Season 3 on sale. Now that Season 4 is coming out, I expect to be picking it up soon. Can't wait for Season 4. Plan on picking it up when it's released.
Excuse me for saying this but "Hell, Yeah" Simon and Simon Season 4 is coming our way this spring. Now, we're halfway there to having the series completed:

Just picked up:
Charmed Season 5
Charmed Season 6
Charmed Season 7
Chips Season 1
Chips Season 2
Have plans on completing some other gaps, such as G.I. Joe Season 1.2, Emergency Season 1 and Emergency Season 2.
Joseph, I have watched the entire series, both the original and the remake. I can tell you that this series is not "visually stunning." If they mean by the fact that they use more sand, then yeah, it's more stunning. However, I don't consider "sand" to be visually stunning.
While it was...
Heya, Ronald. Thanks for posting this.
Now that I got that out of the way, I got the opportunity to watch the original classic television show last month in its entirety on Comcast InDemand and while I had never watched the original series before, it was an interesting show. However, I was...
Actually, DS9 (s1-3) dealt with the continuing threat of the Cardassian Empire as they attempted to try and regain control of Terok Nor. Might I also remind you that the Dominion began emerging in Season 2 of the series. While only mentioned by name, and the Jem Hadar appearing in the season...
Walker Texas Ranger Season 7, the final season to be released, is coming March 9th. This is great news:

I just hope that Shout Factory releases the final 30 episodes in a single set. I think most of us would pay extra for that. Considering that Shout Factory has been releasing each set via 22 episode sets, I think they would be able to fit the other eight episodes on a fifth disk in the same set...
I've been thinking about this and I'm curious if Shout Factory is going to mess up the release of the Season 2 DVD release. The reason I ask is that Season 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 make up the complete first season, along with the releases of the mini series, included on the first set.
However, Season...
Neil, while I appreciate what you are trying to say, I have to say that I've been unimpressed with SGU to date. It's lack of connection to what made the previous two shows interested, it's lack of a threat to keep the show focused just relegates the show to a generic sci-fi show combined with...
The problem is that these crime procedural shows tend to be never-ending. Law and Order (all shows), CSI (all shows), need I say more? Law and Order was just announced that the original series could be canceled.
cajun, also, on the Smallville sets, those prices will go up to around $30, if they decide to keep those sets as well, it happened about a month ago, if I'm not mistaken. Walmart's pricing strategy is a bit strange.

Actually, you have it all wrong. Stargate Atlantis was getting prime ratings. However, Sci-Fi didn't want to pay to produce two Stargate TV shows at the same time, and considering the state of the economy, the Sci-Fi channel didn't want to pay for two shows. This caused a decision to be...
Oh, and let's not forget the worst releases yet:
The Cosby Show
Sanford and Son
I hate those idiotic spindle cases.
... phooey on you, network studio execs ...
I would suggest that if anyone is going to buy these sets at any Walmart store that you might want to buy them before Christmas. I say this because Walmart doesn't make a habit at selling discounted dvd sets over the long haul. They usually rotate their $15 DVD sets every 2-3 weeks.
I enjoyed it too but I quickly became disenchanted with the series because of the "kryptonite monster of the week" plot. This eventually changed, but it kind of ruined the television series for me.
I think that the industry has suffered a glut of bad releases, where it concerns these complete series sets. Let's examine the problem:
Flintstones
Charmed (Standard and Collectors Edition)
Little House on the Prairie
M*A*S*H
I Dream of Jeannie
I Love Lucy
Gilmore Girls
King of Queens
Brady...
Not only that but I've discovered that retailers have even stopped selling Northern Exposure, the Complete Series collection, meaning that Universal has stopped producing the set.
I have to agree, Ethan. What I think Warner Brothers should do, since they obviously love to introduce other heroes from the D.C. Universe is to produce a Justice League of America television series. Such a series would allow the studio to introduce all of the characters they wish to introduce...
It just seems to me that producers, writers and directors don't have a single ounce of brain between them. You would think they could come up with a better way for the character to be written out of the show instead of always killing them off. Let's see, Sasha Alexander wanted out of NCIS, so...
