In a lot of receivers, tone controls do not do anything for the center channel, only the Front Right and Left. So this might not help! FarhadB

Are these subs comparable? If not what SVS unit is in the same class as the B&W. And my other question is which one of these are more "musical?" Thanks.

I am very picky with sound and that Center speaker did not cut it for me. Left and right were ok but needed treble boost, making the center problem even more noticable. The sub is great for movies and boomy for music. Overall, nice for the price.

To level match, I used my ears for adjusting during the tone tests. I even tried up to +/-6dB for the center.
