    Center Speaker-Can't Understand dialogue

In a lot of receivers, tone controls do not do anything for the center channel, only the Front Right and Left. So this might not help! FarhadB

    B&W ASW800 or PB2+

Are these subs comparable? If not what SVS unit is in the same class as the B&W. And my other question is which one of these are more "musical?" Thanks.

    Onkyo 6.1 speakers - SKS-HT510 - Any good?

I am very picky with sound and that Center speaker did not cut it for me. Left and right were ok but needed treble boost, making the center problem even more noticable. The sub is great for movies and boomy for music. Overall, nice for the price.

    Problem with my HT-S650

I tried reversing polarity of the center speaker. No change. Then exchange the center and right front speaker. Effectively no change. This pointed toward the receiver. Finally put the receiver in the multichannel mode (5.1 Analog input). Even with the right front speaker connected to the center...

    Problem with my HT-S650

To level match, I used my ears for adjusting during the tone tests. I even tried up to +/-6dB for the center.

    Problem with my HT-S650

Last week I bought an Onkyo HT-S650 Home Theater in the Box. The unit has large front speakers with dual 5 1/4" woofers and 1" tweeter and a center speaker with dual 4" woofers and 1" tweeter. The satellites have one 4" woofer and a 1" tweeter. The system overall sounds pretty nice and...
