I am looking for a set of HT speakers. While checking various websites, I noticed that the NHT website has been out for sometime now. What's up?

It probably has something to do with being sold to Rockford. They are probably having some difficulties moving the website from one company to another. Its been down now for several weeks. They also may be redoing the site after being sold.

Would be nice to have some kind of message up though.

OMG, When were they sold to ROckford? and if so, do you guys think the quality of the speakers will go down? or possibly up. i ahve never really regarded rockford as a good brand. To me they have always been a brand known to be very bassy. if that makes sense. Are there any articles to back this acquisition up?

"Rockford Audio Group"

Has no more to do with the way a Rockford Fosgate speaker
sounds, than the Pope has control over the second comming
of Jesus.

In other words no...

Rockford Audio Group owns quite a few higher end companies
one of them being Halfer. When was the last time you heard
anyone badmouthing Halfer amps?

Recoton owned NHT and they had no effect on the way NHT
sounded.

I think ya get my point :)

I think many would disagree that the Recoton ownership didn't effect NHT sound. Unfortunately, it was for the worse.

Although NHT has changed hands, the web-site still seems to be operational. I just went to it at nhthifi.com.
