Thanks for the info Kurt, but unfortunately with those speakers on the sides of it it wont fit where i am planning on putting it, do you know of any that are just the lcd? And one with an svidio input or better would be best.
Thanks for the reply KurtW, that is what i was planning on doing, just buying a small lcd monitor that had svidio inputs or if possible dvi inputs. But i don't know of any good ones for $400 or less. They all look the same to me online and i cant seem to find any reviews of them anywhere.
Hello everyone, i need a small lcd for my truck (5-6") and i was curious if anyone could recommend any. The lcd will be used for a computer screen which will be used for gps navigation, mp3 playback, and a few other things. I would like to keep the price under $400 if that is possible. If there...
Thanks for the reply Dave, i am not looking for earth shattering bass, rather just enough so that it sounds good. I will also be doing the install job myself and i plan on making the box for the sub myself. I've never done any of it before, but i'll figure it out :).
Hello everyone, i would like to get a new sound system for my stock 4 door f-150. I have about $700 to spend, i could probably go a little over that right now. I honestly know very little about car audio and i would like to get a good system for listening to rock mainly. Groups like metallica...
Thank you for the reply's, i think i am going to go with the setup that Pablo suggested: Reciever: Marantz SR7300 $700 Front + Rears:Axiom M22ti $800 Center: Axiom VP150 $350 Subwoofer: SVS 20-39PCi $600 But i guess my last question is, is this setup going to be $2500 better then my...
Thank you for the reply Matt, i looked at the sherwood r-956, it looks nice, but will it be able to power 4 axiom M22Ti's which are 8ohm's and that subwoofer well? Or will it be underpowered?
*edit*
Wow i just looked at the price tag on that sherwood r-956 and that thing is $1599...
Thanks you again for the reply Pablo, i have been looking at the axiom M22ti's sense your last post and they look impresive. I don't think i want to go with the lowest end speaker that rocket makes as it just can't be too great, the Axiom M22ti and the Ascend CBM-170 both look good, but i think...
Thank you for the reply Pablo, but may i ask which is a better speaker in your opinion overall? The rocket RS150, the Axiom M22Ti or the Ascend CBM-170 as they rae all in about the same price range? Because i think i have it down to one or the other of those. Also, what would you recommend as a...
Thank you all for the reply's i appreciate it. I think i have reconsidered what i am looking for however.. i think i want to go with something a little more robust because i do want these speakers to hook into my computer so i can use them for gaming as well, so i think i would want surround...
Thank you for the reply's i appreciate it. But i think i really want to go with at least a 4 speaker setup as i do want to be surrounded by the music not just have it blasting at me from one direction and that is also what i have now, also the way i have my room setup 2 speakers would not work...
Ok i think i have come up with a setup that will work. I have 2 different setups and i don't know which one is better: Mains: Ascend CBM-170's Rears: Ascend CBM-170's Subwoofer: SVS 20-39 PCi Receiver: Denon AVR-3802 or Mains: rocket RS150's Rears: rocket RS150's Subwoofer: SVS...
Thank you for the reply Pablo, that looks like a good list, however, do i need the center speaker and surrounds? i am just going to be using this setup to play music, it wont be used in any type of HT at all. I was thinking i only needed 4 good speakers, 1 in each corner of the room? But then...
Thank you all so much for the reply's it is VERY appreciated. Russell _T unfortunately the reciever is part of my budget so i cannot afford the top of the line one :frowning:. I appreciate all the help and i guess i am off to look at all the brands that where recommended and see if i can come up...
Thank you for the reply Robert_Gaither it is appreciated. One question however, i do not know the correct size of speaker or sub i might need? Will something the size of a normal bookshelf speakers be good? Or do i need to go with a pair of standing speakers which are bigger? Sorry for the...
Thank you very much for the reply Russell _T, but i am a complete "noob" at this. Which size of speaker would i want to go with for a 16x20 room, and also which reciever and sub would be the best for the money in my price range? Thanks again in advance! :)
Hi all, i am looking into getting a new speaker system for my room, i am looking to spend between $2000 and $2500 and i was wondering what anyone would recommend for something that will be good for just blasting music..(mainly rock and the occasional techno and classical). It is a fairly small...
