Breads and Pastas for that matter, are important sources of carbs. If your trying to get into good shape, eating breads and pastas is still a good idea, just eat in moderation.
Hey guys, I'm looking to replace my 150 dollar (used) am and CD player combination. The quality isnt that great and there is very noticable hiss. I was thinking of either guying a stereo amp/integrated amp or buying a cheep, under 300 dollar, (do these exist?) stereo pre-amp and building a...
Hi guys, I've got a pair of CSS WR125S woofers lying around that I'm not using. Does anyone have or know of any plans using these woofers? I'd like to keep the cost for the rest of the kit under 150 dollars if possible (that excludes wood, fasteners, polyfil, etc). I just wanna build them for...
Hmmmmm, the manual doesn't say anything about a rumble filter, although I'm not too worried. I won't really be using this thing for anything but music and maybe the ocasional DVD. I'm thinking 28hz is a better choice myself.
Ok, final alignment: Dayton 500w plate amp 17 inch cube either 25 or 28hz tuning frequency 1 4 inch port (obviously length will depend on the frequency I choose, but the 4 inch port kit from Partsexpress will work for either).
Well, the Dayton plate amp "only" puts out 273 watts into 8ohmns, which is my only wiring option. Also, I'm not purchasing these drivers to use in this sub, I just happened to have them laying around, I purchased them over a year ago but I haven't installed them in any car because of money...
Hi guys, I need to get a 500 watt plate amp to power a computer sub I'm building. Parts express has 2 that will satisfy my needs: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=300-752 http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=300-806 They are similarly priced and have similar features...
Is anyone here using this woofer in a 2.5-3 cubic foot sealed or vented enclosure with success? They are so damn cheep and I want to get one or 2 for my car, but I'm not sure if they are going to fit. I asked in here cause more people post about them in here than in the car forum.
Hmmmm, well the guys over at www.caraudio.com say that the new Eclipse HU's are completely differnet from the old ones as far as the crossovers go. Basically, the only useful HU is the 8455, which is also the most expensive. errrr.........
They are good speakers, but that only solves one of my problems; crossovers. I wouldn't need to worry about buying an outboard active crossover, nore would I need to worry about crossover functions in my headunit. I still would need to take the time aligning and instaling the drivers, using...
I was exploring the idea of going 3way in the front stage simply because I've heard some well done 3-ways that sounded great. By the way, these systems were running something in the range of 6's and a tweeter in kicks and 8+ inchers in the doors, some guys even fit small subs in their doors...
Does anyone have custom component speakers installed in their cars? I want to do a custom install in my car with a tweeter, midrange and a midbass. I just want to see what you guys did, what speakers you used and what your powering them with.
Yes, I used one tweeter for testing, thus it's been used slightly more than the other and is less harsh. Everything's working correctly now, I built the second crossover for the second speaker and it worked first time. I'm breaking everything in now and it sound pretty good. THanks guys!
Ok, like I said before, the woofer crossover (and just that, I did not have the tweeter connected) works for a while and then stops. Just now, for 5 minutes, everything was working fine, I then stoped the song and started it again and the distortion started up, I did not touch anything, nor did...
I wired the 2 networks up, 6 feet apart from each other, still the same situation as before. I tried the woofer network alone and the sound comming from it was intermitten. Sometimes it would sound like ok, but if I turn the volume up slightly, it would cut out, then back in with a large amount...
That capacitor is the third one at the top, I moved it because the layout on the schematic was different than the one in the manual and I just changed everything to match the schematic. It isn't turned up too loud. First think I checked was the tweeter seeing as it's more sensative and less...
I changed the layout to what was on the paper shown in the picture. The tweeter isn't quite as distorted but the woofer is playing intermittenly. Bad connection?
Hmm, rebuilt everything and the results are the same. I don't think it's the joints I made either, everything it twisted tightly. This time, I just the suggested layout that was printed in Adire's manual and I noticed some problems. The layout and the schematic have different tweeter networks on...
I checked every connection and even rewired some, again. It's just getting worse. I only have a multimeter that can measure amperage, direct and alternating current and resistance. The resistors are good, but I have no way of checking the inductors or the capacitors. This is quite frustrating.
