I have a similar room. 20x15 with a cathedral ceiling that starts at 9' and is somewhere I'm guessing around 16' at the peak. One 20' side is very open enclosed mostly by a knee wall that's proably 30" high. Anyway.... My PB10-ISD arrived yesterday, I have it paired with Klipsch...
I had a Technics SAX 930, it was good for the price but it in know way compares to the sound of my HK 525. These units are in different leagues and I'm actaully glad that the Technics (Panny) died after only one year of use and that I was able to upgrade to the 525.
Can anyone tell me what I need to get in order to place an IR sensor in zone 2??? I'm assuming it's a small sensor on the end of a long wire that plugs into the back of the HK 525. If so, where can I find one?
Glad to hear that it's 'normal' and not a defect. It's a little frustrating as I use digital for my directv, cd player, and dvd player. I don't care so much about DVDs in zone 2 but I plan on listening to the Directv music stations and my cd changes almost exclusively in zone 2. I don't mind...
I have an HK 525 and have recently acquired a second pair of speakers that I have connected to the zone 2/ surround back jacks on the back of the receiver. I have been able to listen to multiple sources in the two zones but I'm not able to listen to the co-axial digital input or the optical...
I purcased a refurbed 525 from Onecall last month. A slight scrath on the front, otherwise it looks brand spankin' new. Oncall was great to deal with and I'm happy with my purchase. Have fun.
Right. That's what I'm trying to do. It seems when I hit the button for the source, it doesn't act as a command for the receiver but a step for the macro to understand what source the next button pressed should be for.
My HK 525 just arrived and I've been trying to program the remote macros and I have a question that I hope someone can answer. If I program a series of commands to turn on my tv, dvd player, and the 525, the 525 comes on with input source as the last input source used before it was last turned...
This thread caused me to take a closer look at my setup yesterday. The TV (36XBR800) can easily handle the RC-3, it's an extremely sturdy platform and won't have any problems at all with this speaker.
I have a Klipsch RC-3 on top of my 36 XBR 800, it's 29 lbs. On top of the RC-3 is my Directv tuner. I've only had the TV for a week and it handles the speaker with no problem so far.
Justin, I purchased a 36" XBR 800 last weekend, I haven't had it long enough or played with it enough to give you an in depth report but I will say that I think it's awesome. BTW, I purchased it at 'The Great Indoors' (I believe they are owned by Sears) for $1979. This was not their...
It appears from comparing the buttons on the front panel that the TV is an 36HF71. Now, does anyone know the differences between the 71 and 72. Is the 72 worth an extra $300 (Price at Best Buy)? Thanks. Gus.
