Rolando, B&M in Lasalle have both units and are pretty much beside each other. As far as the price....Hmmm at Lasalle they have a sticker price of $2699.00 and I managed to bring him down to $2453.00 36 months no interest financing. Did the $2200.00 price tag include financing?
Robert Did they elaborate at all other the than that it's newer technology? Granted that the F510 is better than the F500 series but to say that it's better than S500 is interesting to me. I'd appreciate if you can tell me a little more. Thanks
Decisions decisions! For $368.00 more than the 51F510,price at the top of this thread, I can get the 51S500. What are peoples thought on this. Is it worth it? I am also considering a plasma by Panasonic. The TH-42PA20. I hope to finalize this by no later than Friday!! Rolando My...
I agree with Bill. The three manufactures he mentioned make a solid RP product. Take an hour and check it out for yourself. You'll will be able to make a better decision then. I'm going to see if I can get a great deal on the S series. If I can't I have the F510 to fall back on.
Robert Futureshop had a sale for all RPTV (excluding Sony)where they paid the taxes. I think the sale ended Thursday. Maybe they can still do something for you. The F510 is a nice unit, true but the S series is the Ultravision line that has the 5 element lens system superior to the F line...
Hi Peter, Wow...was that a new one in a box? That is a great price and actually better than F500. Curious, was that a negotiated price or a one they were advertising. The futureshop I was at had a demo 50S500 for around $2599.00
That’s a tough call Rolando. Looks like you have the fever! Although I have put a layaway deposit for a Hitachi 50F510 at Futureshop I am now contemplating a 50S500 from Brault & Martineau. I hear good things about the S500 especially in the PQ area hence my indecision. If you get a chance...
I have secured a price of $2085.00 CDN (before taxes) for 30 days on a Hitachi 51F510. I went today to another store and saw a price of $2699.00 CDN (36 month equal payments no interest) for a 51S500 . I'm sure I can still bring him down on the price. I have heard so many good things about...
Honestly.....I'm jealous! For the price it's hard to beat. All the reviews I read on this unit were good. I think you can't go wrong with it. Just make sure you are getting a competitive price. wk
Michael, Thanks for the quick reply! They are the Mission Cyrus 751 in a cherry finish, beautiful they are. Over the years, about 7 years, I have compared them to others speakers and have to say they hold their own. The PW-2200 was a recent purchase and found it to be a nice complement. If...
Hi To all,
Wasn't sure if I should have posted here since it it's an upgrade thread but felt I would get the best answer here.
I am what you call a lurker up to now.:) I have been looking to purchase a system for the last 2 months or so. I have recently swayed towards the AVM20 after...
Hmmm....interesting. I was considering the 1066. Looks like I should give the RSX-1055 A listen. Does anybody have Canadian pricing on these units. What is the best price i can expect to pick it up for? Oh and the RMB-1075 if possible would be much appreciated. W.K
Larry, I don't think you can go wrong with the integra products. Have done quite a few comparisons and found the the integra units to be quite musical. I have compared the Integra 7.2 and 7.3 to both the Pioneer 45TX and the denon 3802. I found the integra to more defined and detailed than...
I narrowed my HT receiver choice to a Integra DTR-7.3 but found out that it has a fixed cross over frequency of 80Hz. Most people seem to want at least a few choices in that area. My question is why? I would figure that the sub might handle below 80Hz better than my mains. Please clarify...
I can't imagine anyone playing it at full output. One would loose their hearing instantly if not at minimum have the chest cave in. Great links! Wolfgang
LOL.....That is seriously large. Can you here me!!! and a re you telling me that you have not been evicted from the street yet :). It must sound great!
Thanks for for input....I'll most likely get PW-2200. But I still have sometime till I get HT Receiver. Who knows I may change my mind and...
Thanks Dustin,
More Cosmetic. Wouldn't be so much of an issue if the room were larger. Current size 12x12*10. Plan to pick one up in the future when I move into a house with a big basement .:)
Living in Montreal I can get the PW-2200 from about $725-$750.
HSU: $449.00+$50.00sh)x1.6...
I know that this has already been discussed extensively on this site....but still would like to have a better idea/comparison between these 2 subs when it comes down to clean, tight accurate bass. I plan to use 50 music 50 HT. Are these 2 subs comparable to each other? Your input would be...
Also look at the Integra line from Onkyo. I'm seriously considering the 45TX or the Integra DTR-7.3 when it comes out some this month/next month. I have compared the 45TX to the Integra DTR-7.2 and have to say for music, the Integra beat hands down. The 7.3 will have some interesting features...
One reason one might go for the 47TX over the 45TX is sound quality? Has anybody done a sound comparison? I'm seriously considering the 45TX or the 47TX but have a gripe when it comes to listening to music. I compared the 45TX to the Integra 7.2 on 3 separate occasions at 2 different dealers...
Sébastien David
I've considering the PW-2200 for the last month or so. What's your feeling about the sub? Any input would be appreciated.
Also, I live in Montreal. Can you let me know where you purchased your subwoofer? I'll leave you e-mail address if you want to contact me that way...
