I have a JVC AL-F350BKX turntable. The belt wasn't installed so I took the plate off to install the belt and it is very loose, and won't turn the plate. The motor turns and everything else seems functional. My question is do I need to replace the belt or am I missing some sort of belt tension...

Has anyone here had experience with the JVC 8010 receiver, or the 9010? I can get the 8010 for around $270, it has all of the features I'm looking for. It will be matched up with JBL N38 mains, N center channel and N24 rears. Would this receiver satisfy my "new, first" HT setup.
