I am looking for an nice inexpensive subwoofer as in sub $400 since a new Adire Rava is going for $399; I know many other are looking for the same. I am leaning toward getting the new Rava now but hope to get a better used Sub; I know this is a tall order since Rava is hard to beat for that...

I have a couple of old speakers and just got a large PTV. My speakers are now next to the TV since my room is small. How can I shield these nice old speakers so that they would not affect my PTV? Also would a non shielded speaker damage PTV? Thanks, John
