OK, not wedding anniversary. I work for a local restaurant that has been open for 20 years. I'm putting together a slideshow of photos and need some good background music. Here's what I have so far.. Frank Sinatra - As Time Goes By Frank Sinatra - All the Way Harry Nillson - Remember...
Oyyy, some of these responses are scary. As a server, I get paid $2.13/hour. Tips are critical. As a bartender, I get $4.20/hour. A little better, but still, not minimum wage. At least not here in AZ. I'll never understand the people who stiff me because: - "I had to ask to get a refill...
Wow, I'm surprised at all the "no" responses to # 1. There is work involved with to-go orders, folks. Especially if you get it from the bar. I'm a bartender at a mexican grill and I handle all the to-go orders, in addition to bar patrons, and individual tables. To-go orders usually...

I feel robbed.
Today I was all excited.. "ooh, the new Panic Room Superbit Deluxe comes out!"
I thought this was supposed to be a 2-disc Superbit Deluxe release? As I look through this thread, it appears that nobody still knows for sure what happened to the 2-disc set. Where's the "deluxe"...
I'm no expert, Tom, but I've been doing a lot of research on Hitachi's lately and it sounds like maybe you have the Ambient Light Sensor feature on?? From the Hitachi website:
Perfect Picture Auto Picture Adjustment
When activated via the on-screen menu, the TV will automatically sense...
It's The Prayer by Celine Dion and Andrea Boccelli.
Very moving song. Played at my grandfather's funeral.

I pray you'll be our eyes, and watch us where we go.

Hey guys,
I saw a 45" Panasonic PT-45LC12 LCD/DLP at The Great Indoors yesterday and it looked awesome.
I've been searching this topic and no one seems to have mentioned anything on it.
From what I understand is that burn-in is not an issue, since it is an LCD.. correct?
The only real...
I agree with John on this one.
If we're gonna go, we're gonna go all the way.
Dual releases, widescreen & PS, in my opinion is just going to create more confusion in our OAR "education efforts."
It's OAR or nothin'.
It's all about the money, folks.
On starwars.com a while ago, there was a poll, asking which edition of Episode II you would buy. The possible responses were:
- Special Edition VHS
- Fullscreen DVD
- Widescreen DVD
- All Three (!!)
All three?! This of course would be great for...

What a great addition this movie was to the Austin Powers series.
Was this Steven Spielberg's first cameo?
HILARIOUS.
Although I felt like I was the only one who got the Silence of the Lambs references. The theater was quiet during this scene. (???)...
Being the grandson of a grandfather who's nearly deaf, I really try to protect my ears. I bring ear plugs to concerts and other loud events. I really don't understand the argument "loud is better".
I recently visited an Uncle in Denver and went to a United Artists theatre downtown to see MIB...
Ted Talley (Silence screenwriter) is back on this film. :emoji_thumbsup:
For those interested, the first six pages of the screenplay is online.

Coolio.
Mark E J, Coming from my Grandfather who is a veteran Air Force pilot, > 80 yrs old, his reaction after that line: "Get them Jap suckers!" (Grandpa) {chuckle} {roll eyes} (Grandpa)If you've ever flown combat, you know there is no time to even say "Get them Jap suckers!" Andy
Including my opinion into the pile...
Although this "Director's Cut" looks amazingly cool, the movie itself, inaccurate or not, was really bad.
With such lines as "Get them Jap suckers!", I just can't stand to bear another viewing.
Everyone keeps saying that this is a good "popcorn"...
A 9/11 DVD would be appropriate now, considering we're only a couple months away from September 11th, 2002.
Things I hope they include:
* Different TV/cable channel's reactions. (a bunch of well known cable networks stopped programming for that first day or two... remember that?)
* Bush's...
I thought the show was very mediocre, IMO.
All the bands that were on were so old.. they didn't sound right.
Highlights of the show:
* Eric Clapton
* Sharon Osbourne hosting :crazy:

Buy both DVDs? I don't think so, Columbia! Sneaky little bastards. :angry:
I too will eagerly await the SE version but will definitely rent this version when it comes out.
Awesome review, Ron!

This drive was one of my very first CD burners, and it is pretty unreliable.
Of course, most pre-USB 2.0 burners are unreliable.
Go out and get a TDK 24x/10x/40x -- they're super cheap now. Less than $150.
