John - I have not received my 898 from CC yet, but I'm not too worried. The sales rep said it should arrive soon and only a few dealers already have it. I believe Crutchifield and One Call list it as "in stock," but others like JandR and Circuit City are yet to receive them.
Is there anybody...
The $999 deal from Circuit City is gone, but One Call is selling it for about $1250 right now. I got it at CC but I think its worth the $1250 price. Here is the link http://ww2.onecall.com/PID_12965.htm
The 898 will only be available in Black in the US. The Onkyo.net site is for Europe. It also shows a Pronto style CHAD touchscreen remote as included with the European model, but in the US it has to be purchased seperately. I also thik that the silver model looks great, but it's whats inside...

Does anybody know where to get the Silver 797 that is displayed at onkyo.net, the UK site. I prefer the silver color. It is fully compatible with all US components right?

I am moving into a new home soon. I have decided that the best place for my front left and right speakers are in the ceiling angled down toward the listners. I want to keep the speakers that I currently own, they are about 16 inches long and about 8 inches wide. I was planning on building a...
