Thanx for the info...Jerry where can I buy jubillee wax??? For four years i had this sub with no scratches, and then i take it in for repair and it came back to me with 3 little scratches. not really noticable, but i know they are there. So it isn't under the 30 day return. joe
Hello, I just got my Velodyne hgs-15 back from the shop and it came back with 3 small scratches. The dealer gave me a store credit for the mishap, but I'm left with the scratches. Can anyone give any recommendations on how to conceal these scratches. The finish is black gloss. The scratches...
I own the dv-37, and if I had your option, I'd get something else. I can't stand the chroma bug on the 37. Also, the new jvc models seem to be good for the money, and some also have dvd audio. The panasonic rp-91 gets talked about all the time here. I think you can do better now.

buying my pioneer elite dv-37. the chroma bug in this machine is horrible. another one is wiping down the protective screen on my 40x81. left a bunch of swirl marks, anyways, i replced it with a piece of glass, all is well now.

albert, they should be great for your bedroom system. I own b&w nautilus 805's for my main theater, and I might get this system for my bedroom too. a friend of mine got them for his main system, and i can't believe what they do for the size they are and the price. I think there constructed...
Donavon,
I am using both. I know I can use the analog outputs, but my reciever is suppose to be capable of doing 24/96 digitally and so is my dvd player (pioneer dv-37).

I have a denon 4800. How do i know if I am receiving a 24/96 signa. I am also using the SE7EN disc. On my dvd player, it reads 96khz. But I'm not sure if the denon is really getting the signal.

I have owned a Toshiba tw-40x81 for about a year and half. My conclusion is I think I prefer direct view tv. The picture on the toshiba was great with dvd, but for some reason, I rather have a direct view. Anyway, I just sold the Toshiba last night and I need a new TV. I went to the Good...
Jeff,
I'm running my Nautilus 805's with a Rotel RB-1080, which is 200 watts. The 805's are rated at 120. Having too much power doesn't hurt, not having enough does.

I vote for the 3802 since it is newer model than the yamaha. The yamaha has been out for over a year I think. The 3802 has 7 channels of amplifiaction, Dolby prologic 2, DTS-ES discrete, and a somewhat adjustable crossover (80,100,120). I think the Yamaha is fixed at 90. I'm sure the 3000 is...
Andrew,
sorry to hear about all the shit you went through, but your story was entertaining :).

Hey Jeff,
trust me, you can derive a center channel without using the THX-EX mode. On the front panel of the 4800, you'll see a button that says 6.1/7.1 surround. When you set up the EX speakers, you will be able to use that button, while you are in either dolby digital or dts. I'm positive...
I own nautlis 805's as main speakers and a Denon avr-4800. The mains are being driven by a Rotel 1080 amp (200 watts).
Recently, I noticed that 2 channel music just didn't sound that great with my subwoofer on. I didn't like how it sounded when my mains were set to large or small. With the...
