When playing certain digital cable channels, The sound would only come out of the center speaker when set on Dolby prologic II mode on the reciever. I thought prologic would make a stereo source into a 5.1 signal.

I have a pair of N-28s with a N-Center. My reciever is a pioneer VSX-412. When nothing is playing a static noise comes from the 2 front speakers. Is something wrong with my speakers or receiver?
