I got my first UHD TV last year (Sony Bravia X80J), I wish I had done better research, since it doesn't have the deep black levels I like, but I with it came a new problem I never experience before: stutter/judder. Not sure which I have. Reviews say it fixes judder quite, so it may be stutter I...
UPDATE #3: Nope, not a sharpness problem. Did a factory reset and problem is still there. I see Sony Bravia's have a tendency to have "image problems" and this might just be a defect. I don't know. I think this is only going to be solved when I replace the TV in the future.
UPDATE# #2: This might be a sharpness problem, like John theorized. Turning it down to the midpoint (50 on this TV) didn't do anything, so I turned it down to 5, and I saw a tiny, tiny distortion; the smallest I've ever seen with my problem here, so I turned it down to 0, and so far no...
I decided to first try changing to another HDMI plug and another HDMI cord, no improvement. Tonight I'm gonna try the overnight rebooting Rob suggested and see if that does anything. Then if nothing works there, I'll try the factory reset. Thankfully these "anomalies" haven't plagued my movie...

It's a new TV, bought Jan.2022, though I didn't set it up until that summer, and about a week later I started to notice this odd "clarity rippling" best I can describe it that would come and go every so often, when it got worse several months later all I could do at that time...
A short, random list of what I'd like to see on blu:
* THE POWER (1968)
* IT! (1967)
* THE SHUTTERED ROOM (1967)
* THE BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS (1943)
* WILD, WILD PLANET (1966)
* WAR OF THE PLANETS (1966)
* SNOW DEVILS (1966)
I'm with Barnduke98, anything related to made-for-TV genre flicks from the 70s, 80s, and 90s would be most welcome. MIDNIGHT OFFERINGS, THE IVORY APE, VAMPIRE, the pilot films: THE WORLD OF DARKNESS and it's sequel THE WORLD BEYOND all need some kind of legit disc release.
