Where did you guys get your 2.35:1 screens from? Are they more expensive than a comparable 1.78:1 screen? I am looking for a 135" wide screen for a CIH setup.
Worked like a charm, once I unplugged and re-plugged the component cables back in. Great picture on my Mits. Now I need to get a component to VGA cable to hook up the Panasonic LCD projector. Thanks!!
Thanks for your reply, Jeremy. The problem I'm having is when I change to interlaced component in the set-up menu, the player does not send a signal to my RPTV and when I try to select progressive component/HDMI the screen goes black like it's processing the signal, but then returns, again no...
Our Church just got the Sammy 850, but I can not get the player to play progressive over component. The set-up menu will not change from interlaced to prog. As a matter of fact, I don't get any picture on my Mits. over component, but composit works. Anyone have a similar issue with this model...
Sony's new "black screen" looks very promising for use in a front projection set-up where ambient light can not be controlled. Our church is in the market for an LCD front projector and screen. Does anybody know the cost of the new Sony screens and when they will be available? I've tried...

I own a 6 to 7 year old R-V1105. In the last couple of weeks it has started to shut/turn itself off in the middle of listening to either 5.1 sources or 2 channel. I can turn the receiver back on and it will sometimes run for an hour or two without shutting down and sometimes it will shut back...
MichaelDDD, I sent you an e-mail with the subtestmodel attached. I believe that the flatter the sub frequency response the better for music and movies. There is a noticeable improvement in both since equalizing with the BFD. Certain movie scenes that had a boomy, unpleasant quality because...
I ran into the same thing while calibrating my PB2+. The filters I set on the BFD were not having any affect on the humps and dips in my room's frequency response. What I discovered was that while dialing/changing the frequency to be filtered, I thought the BFD's readout said 63hz,for example...
