I recommend you use a fan and dehumidifier in the basement just to be sure. You can rent both of these units at Home Depot or Lowes. Also, spray the inside of the walls with a mold killer and or light bleech mixture. Mold takes at least three days to show up so you'll need to keep an eye on it...
