    age old screen question

I've used a 1.0 matte white, a gray screen (.7 / .8), and now a 1.3 gain screen. By far, I prefer the 1.3. I'm using a Sanyo Z3. If you can control the light, paint the walls and floor a dark color, I'd recommend a higher gain screen. Three years ago black levels on LCD and DLP projectors were...

    Berlkine 088 theater chairs

I have five Berkline 088's for sale. They were mixed in with another post about a month back. I've replaced the chairs so the berks gotta get out of the garage before fishing season starts. They are about 1 year old and in near perfect condition. A single unit has a small stain (about the...

Todd, THe distance is likely too far. I may be delivering a G90 to Dallas. If so, and the chairs haven't moved yet, I'll send a PM. Thanks for the interest. Ian

UGH ! Water damage in basement theater.

If you really want to find out where the water came from you should contact a restoration company in your area that can take IR pictures of your wall. IR pics will show where the moisture is. Cost is between $200 and $350.00 per pic. http://www.steamaticofsacramento.com/newatsos.html Ian

UGH ! Water damage in basement theater.

I recommend you use a fan and dehumidifier in the basement just to be sure. You can rent both of these units at Home Depot or Lowes. Also, spray the inside of the walls with a mold killer and or light bleech mixture. Mold takes at least three days to show up so you'll need to keep an eye on it...
