The ceiling is 7 foot 9 inchs....also, yes..I sealed up the window from the inside with caulk around the window frame, then used Great Stuff sprayed on the window itself. It worked out pretty good...plus, I also sealed it from the outside too using blue board insulation and caulk. There...

I used 1/2" drywall on my front soffit, which is radius'd out appr. 7" on center.....the drywall wrapped around very easily, and I ran it length wise from a cut down 12 foot sheet....I have pics posted if that'll help explain better. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Hi DenyVL I consulted with a few hometheater designing places and they all said that having the center channel just above the screen will sound good. The center channel will be angled downward toward the listening area which will spread over the room to give everyone a good listening...

Thanks for the advice guys....I think I'll continue drywalling as is. Maybe a few extra screws per sheet, but it should hold just fine.
