Does anyone have any idea when Disney is going to get off their butts and remaster this title? How long do I have to wait? I'm not getting any older.

You're lucky. Is your name, perchance, Benjamin Button?

All kidding aside, I saw a very good DCP of this title 2 years ago. I have no idea why Disney is sitting on it.

pray tell they are not reading this, but watch them go exclusive Disney movie club or something on this; like they did with the love bug, and apple dumpling gang

Wait, this forum is "for TV Shows, not movies."? Since when? This is the Home Theatre Forum, right? At the top it says "Home Theater Forum

[*]→ Blu-ray, DVD, Streaming Video and Digital DownloadsBlu-ray". 90% of the post on this forum are about film and movies. I fail to see how this is the "wrong board".

All we know at this point is that a new transfer/restoration was struck years ago.

The film was supposed to be released to Blu-ray.

To date, it has not. Nobody knows if and when it will be.

As I stated before, I saw the DCP of the new transfer/restoration, and it looked very good to my eyes.

I've seen that one and it looks fantastic. The color is supposed to be turquoisy in those shots, not colonial blue. It was the 50s. Everything was turquoise and sea green.

I haven't seen IB 35 but I have seen IB 16 and the colors looked the same.

I recently saw a 35mm IB Tech print of Swiss Family Robinson, and the color wasn't much different from the DVD or Blu-ray versions. I wouldn't call either of those "orange and teal."
