Hello, we recently moved into a house where 8 rooms including outside has in-wall Boston Acoustic speakers. Previous owners did not use the system, so we couldn't ask them. First owners ran monster cables and cat5 wires to the basement where I believe they had the big control system.
Additionally, they had controls in walls that worked off the cat5s (these are now just plated). All wiring is in place... how do you recommend we put the receiver/amp/etc? We had a Sonos guy come out to do an estimate, but it seems since everything is wired already isn't necessary... Would love to access each zone from an app or in wall switch?
Lastly, we have two surround systems and receivers that we brought from previous house. Those have already been hooked up to each of the TVs/receivers.
So the in-wall speakers would probably just used to play music.
Many thanks for your help!
