Hello,

I am building out my home theater and need to decide on in wall speakers. I've had a hard time finding a place where I can go into a demo room and listen to the speakers in a setting similar to our room. As excited as I am, I'm dreading making this decision because I will have to purchase these speakers knowing I probably won't get to really listen to them first.

I've visited a few different audo companies and I've been told that based on my budget, which is $5k. (and i'd like to stay below that), that i should consider one of the following two packages.

I'm also unclear if I will need two subs or one. Guessing one sub will suffice.

room dimensions: (21 feet L x 13 feet W)
There will be two rows of lounge chairs, wiht the rear row elevated.

I'm not an audio expert, but love my music, sports, and movies. I understand it might not be equivalent to floor standing speakers but this is just not an option.

I'm looking for any recommendations on these packages. Trying to get the most bang for my buck and sound quality covering all ranges. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (having a hard time figuring out which company is providing a better recommendation although in the end, for a small/medium size budget I'm assuming I will be happy wiht either choice. Or at least hopefully.)

1. Paradigm:
AMS-LCR for center channel
AMS - 350 for front and rears, or AMS-150 for rears instead.
in wall Sub - PCS - 82SQ (W/ X-300 Amp)
Anthem Receiver - MRX-710

OR

2. Monitor Audio:
WT280-IDC (for all speakers 5.1) front, center and rear)
IWB - 10 In Wall Sub w/ Amp for this too(although not sure of amp)
or IWS 10 in wall sub
Marantz - 7008 receiver

3. Any other packages would be greatly appreciated. hoping to make a decison in the next two weeks.

great thanks. this is helpful. We will mostly be using this for TV, Movies, and Sports. The rest of our house has in ceiling speakers that came wiht the house when we bought it so we generally use those when listening to musice because we rarely sit in just one room listening to music.
