Aaron,

Check this out.  Although it will be difficult to make it occur, I for one would Love for it to happen. :)

Only if Danny pulls some kind of multi-mega deal that brings in more guys to make the C's contend immediately. He doesn't want to go to a rebuilding team, sadly.

Which is not to say that Danny couldn't pull it off. . .

LeBron James is back in Cleveland! This is just hard to believe!

I thought he was going to stay in Miami, and try to win another championship there.

Walter,

I wasn't sure where he was going to end up.  I think I like this move.  I wonder if any other star players will end up in Cleveland.  Maybe the likes of Kevin Love?  That would be quite a combination, along with Varejao.

Scott,

I was kind of wondering with Wade and Bosh. With James gone, the Heat will be lucky to make the playoffs. Not sure if this move will translate into a championship for Cleveland. At least not next season.

I believe Bosh was offered a max contract by Houston. With James leaving Miami it's hard to imagine that Bosh won't leave too.

That leaves Miami as a lottery team.

Walter,

I was really hoping that Love might come to Boston.  When he visited the city a few months ago, there was rampant speculation as to why.  But now he is excited about the possibility of being traded to Cleveland.  If that happens, I could see the Cavaliers at least getting to the NBA Finals.

Irving, James, and Love would pretty much shoot the Cavs to the top of the Eastern Conference heap.

A couple of days ago, word was that Bosh had informed the Heat that he'd take the Houston deal if Lebron left. Miami's mini-dynasty is over after 4 years.

Gotta feel bad for D-Wade. No way does he get a contract equal to the one he just opted out of.

Aaron,

Wade's best days are behind him.  I don't even know how many more years he will play, given his recent injuries.  I know I wouldn't want him on the Celtics.  But Love on the other hand -- yeah, I'd take him. ;)

So Bosh is staying, and the Heat have added Luol Deng on top of Granger and McRoberts. They won't dominate the conference any more, but they aren't exactly in the toilet, either.

Aaron,

I'm sure you've read by now that The Truth went to Washington.  The Wizards had a nice little playoff run recently.  I also heard this morning that it's not entirely beyond the realm of possibility that James may try to lure Allen for one last year before he retires.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Ray's an ageless wonder. Isn't there a sequel to He Got Game in the works?  :)

I thought LeBron was bound for the L.A. Lakers in the hopes of reviving "Showtime" championship basketball!

Wouldn't that be ironic, leaving Pat Riley's current team to revive something that he started back in the day with his former team. ;)

This is quite interesting.  I remember reading about it, but of course I had never seen the video until now.

Well, it's been talked about for a few years so I'm not really surprised that Rondo has been traded.  The best thing about this deal is that the Celtics now have eight (another source cites seven) first-round draft picks locked up over the next four years.  Of course, this could change in light of more trading.
