BRONCO: The Complete First Season is showing at the Super D sites: importcds.com deepdiscount.com dvdplanet.com and ccvideo.com with a July 29, 2014 release date.

Bronco may show up at the Warner Archive site first, weeks before that, as happened when Sugerfoot S-2 was listed at the Super D sites first.

BRONCO stars Ty Hardin, as Bronco Layne, a western scout and troubleshooter.

Bronco started in 1958 when Clint Walker walked off Cheyenne. Bronco was broadcast from 1958-1962 with 68 episodes made. It usually alternated with Sugarfoot and Cheyenne in a shared time slot.

The S-1 season had 20 episodes. (S-2 also had 20, S-3 had 10 and S-4 had 18 episodes.

May The Alaskans be next! I could go for Colt .45 as well.
It appears from a post on the WB Archive Facebook page, The Dakotas will be coming too.
Warner Archive Collection We have not even begun remastering the series, but indeed WAC will bring THE DAKOTAS your way in the near future.

Good news. WB is doing a good job on it's westerns . Let's hope for 77 Sunset Strip, and the rest of the detective shows next (along with the rest of the westerns).
The detective shows are problematic due to all of the music issues involved. Much easier for them to clear the westerns.

I very vaguely remember Bronco and Sugarfoot. I was a very young child then, but I remember those shows. Ty Hardin is a character, to say the least.

I'll put those westerns on my increasingly long wish list. There's so much out now that it's hard to keep up.

Unfortunately true.

Has there been any progress with 77 Sunset Strip coming to DVD? Now would be a good time for a release.

An earlier post on this show from them said possibly late this year or more likely next year. They also mentioned they haven't started remastering it yet so early next year would be the safe bet. It is supposed to include the pilot episode from Cheyenne as well. I expect we will see Sugarfoot completed this year and possibly Season 2 of Bronco at the end of the year or early next year.
But very good news on Bronco. Not a real surprise since it has been rumored since late last year but good news for the official confirmation.

I received the first season set of BRONCO from WB Archive today. Five pressed DVDs, twenty episodes. They look very nice, sharp, with excellent contrast. At the end of each show are scenes from next week's episode of SUGARFOOT, which alternated with BRONCO for the 1958-59 season. The end credits show the CHEYENNE illustration in the background but have the BRONCO theme song. Good job on this one.
