As the title states, I'm curious to know if my speakers from my old Technics System can be used with the
SONY STRDN1040 7.2-Channel AV Receiver. I'm planning on purchasing this AVR to begin my new Home Theater System. (I am just buying the AVR for now, that is why I was curious if i could use the older speakers for now.)
The speakers are as follows:

Center
Impedance: 8 ohms
Input: 220W (Music), 110W (DIN)

L&R (Tower Speakers)
Impedance: 8 ohms
Input: 260W (Music), 130W (DIN)

The specs for the Sony AVR for power are 7.2-channel (165W x 7 @ 8 ohms 1kHz 0.9% THD 1ch. driven).

Thanks for any information you may be able to provide.
Blitz!
