The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

I'm really finding it insane Amazon hasn't lowered their prices on either Star Trek release this week yet.  (The grid should show Redemption at $12.99 right now.)  Mine has already shipped (surprise surprise) so the choices right now are: (1) hope for the price match and refund or (2) return them and go to Target on Tuesday.

Justice League has also shipped...and I'm on the fence about whether or not I need GI Joe: Retaliation right now...

Choices choices choices...

Done!

I was having trouble getting that image of Tina Louise to show up.  The WRU wouldn't have been complete without her...

Using IE and Vista and can't see the three pictures mentioned. (I see both Marilyns just fine.)

Did I hear there was some delay with Criterion about The Devil's Backbone? I haven't received the review copy yet (but have received Seconds which isn't due out until August 13th! Look for that review tonight.)

Not much this week for new movie fans, but classic movie lovers have some fine choices this week.

Same problem on a Mac with Safari - although if I select to open the image in another window/tab, they are available - just not appearing on the forum page

Barnes and Noble had a one week advance release window for The Devil's Backbone. I bought it last Tuesday. When I watched it, I thought it looked and sounded terrific, so if there is a problem, I can't imagine what it is.

As for the RoundUp, since I already got TDB and The Fog, just the BB exclusive version of Justice League, and if by some miracle my store gets any copies of Peggy Sue Got Married, I'll upgrade & save that one, too.

Thanks for the RU, Mike!
