I am looking forward to what Google has to say about this refresh. Especially the screen res and whether it has 2G or 4G of Ram. I am glad to see that Best Buy is going to be carrying it too. I am glad to see they are sticking with the 7 inch size instead of going with an 8 like they were rumored to be going with. At $30 more than the first build they will have a killer tablet on their hands. I know what line I will be in.

Benchmarks of a leaked device seem to confirm that the rumored bump to 4gb ram did not pan out:

Will see if they got a prototype or the real deal soon, info should come out starting at noon eastern today:

I'm waiting for the LTE version which doesn't ship for a few weeks.  $350 and works on AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.

I pre-ordered from Best Buy. Supposed to receive it on the 30th.

I was hoping for 4G of RAM and a bit of a faster CPU but with all that they shoved into this new 7 at the price point they

have it at for the money it is the best bang for your buck out there and I'm not complaining.

Whoa. $100 cheaper than the ipad mini, with retina screen, and still has 10 hr battery? Tech specs are phenom. If it performs well, this could be big deal.

I can't believe the number of people that are bitching that it doesn't have an SD card clot. I have one with my Tab 2 and have never used it. I should have mine on the 30th.

LMAO yeah...

Anyway, my 4.3 upgrade did not go so well.  Apparently while I was away last week my tablet got unplugged and went into deep sleep.  I -think- I was able to get it out but some people never can and it's a total brick.  Others have to do a factory restore.

Will report back tonight.

Supposedly Best Buy stores have them in stock today. Some Reward Zone members may have received a 3X points coupon that expires on the 27th, that could be used on the Nexus 7 if you can walk in the store and get one.

No go for me. The system wouldn't take the coupon and they weren't willing to override. I suspect the same will happen online.

Hate buying.

I've heard of hate reading and hate watching...but never hate buying :)
