Individual Titles in the Collections Listed Above:
Kino Classics: Lina Wertmuller Collection (DVD): All Screwed Up, Love & Anarchy, The Seduction of Mimi.
The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.
I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp
. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!
Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

The Specials
--The Sunday flyer says that Best Buy has an EXCLUSIVE DVD package of Seasons 1 & 2 of Louie. There is confusion, however, in that the image shown shows BOTH Blu-ray and DVD (Combo Pack) on the front cover of the Season 1 cover shown. The price listed is $26.99.
--Best Buy has the following Blu-ray releases on sale:

$12.99 Hondo

$16.99 ($12.99 DVD): Thin Ice

$19.99 ($14.99 DVD): The Grey, Contraband, The Thing, A Very harold & Kumar Christmas, J Edgar, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
--Best Buy has the following TV Shows on DVD on sale this week:
$12.99: Eureka: Seasons 1-4 (apiece), In Plain Sight: Seasons 1-3, Stargate: Atlantis: S 1-5, Warehouse 13: S 1-2, Psych: S 1-3
$16.99: Eureka: S 4.5
$19.99: In Plain Sight: S4, Covert Affairs: S 1-2, Psych: S 4-5.

--BB will give you a FREE "Mickey and Friends" Beachball when you buy one of the following "select" Disney DVDs for $14.99: The Three Musketeers, jake and the Neverland Pirates: S 1 Vol. 1, Have a laugh: Volume 3, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Space Adventure, more titles in store.
--Best Buy Odds and Ends: None to report.
--There are no specials listed in this week's Target Sunday flyer--outside of a few prices for new releases this week listed in the grid above.
--Target Odds and Ends: None to report.

Newsies on Blu-Ray? How'd I miss that? I was the only one who actually liked that movie when it came out!

Yeah, they cancelled it, but there is a release since 2009. Also, Blade II is scheduled for July 10th.

I did find Blade Trinity yesterday for under $10. I looked for the other two movies (ya know, as a "just in case they put them out"-type thing), but they weren't on the shelf. If I remember right, Blade I and III were supposed to come out on the same day. Maybe other stores put them out early, too?

Nothing for me again this week, but I wanted to wish Mike a very happy Father's Day, and happy Father's Day to all of the other fathers who frequent this thread. I'm off to spend the afternoon with my own father.:)

Blade I and Blade III are supposed to be released Tuesday. Beware Amazon, I have read posts that they are shipping the older Alliance version, which is supposed to have very poor quality. My local Fry's ad has both Blade I and Blade III advertised as $7.99 each, with each containing $5 movie cash towards The Dark Knight Rises. Not bad at all.

For some strange reason Blade II isn't scheduled to come out until July 10th.

Is there anything different about the Batman Animated Series Season Three than the volume released several years ago?

My only thought on way Blade II is being released separately is it's the best of the three films and Warner doesn't want to just throw them out on the market together. It really, honestly, makes no sense whatsoever.

The cover art looks identical to the one already released. Maybe this is just a repack into a regular keepcase instead of the bulky fold-out version?

I was wondering the same thing. It certainly doesn't look different...

WOW, is that Chirstian Bale in Newies? he looks the same, hard to believe since he was probably 16 when it was filmed.
I didnt know he was in that. Does he sing?

THIS I CAN answer.

You bet that's Christian Bale, Stephen. He acquits himself quite nicely in Newsies. He was about 18 when Newsies was released. So, probably 17 during filming. Not far off!

I remember being at my local Best Buy--when it opened--the day the original DVD was released. I'm sure to bite on a double dip for the Blu...but I hope the transfer was done well. It's a great little musical (made at a time when musicals had really hit the skids in Hollywood).

And the funny thing about that poster in the OP is that the "newsies" (of which Bale's character is the leader) are the only reason to see this film. Anyone looking for anything from Robert Duvall and Ann-Margret will surely be disappointed!

And...I made a special trip to my local Target this morning...just to see if they might have today's Blu release of Newsies on the shelf.

They did not.

I should have just ordered it from Amazon to begin with.

Since I don't see myself getting to my local Best Buy any time this week (and even if I did there's no way of knowing if they'll be carrying it--unless Adam lets me know! ), I just ordered from Amazon now and will have it on Friday.

I understand that Newsies is no Toy Story or Pinocchio...but Target has a fairly lavish kids section (EVEN a kids/family Blu section--with its own dedicated Disney sub-section). Why its not there is a surprise to me.
