Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious.
Dr. Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.

One of the great character actors of our time...

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Well, unlike Candy at least he lived a long life.

I wasn't referring to their lifespans, I was comparing them because I loved them both equally as actors and as comedians.

Well, I realize that, but was merely trying to offer some consolation. Of course, you could always pop in "Platoon" to cheer yourself up Posted Image

I do wish John had stuck around longer than he did but your right that Leslie had a long and hopefully full filling career and life.

It's of course awful learning about the passing of any great celebrity but there are some that you personally have followed and are a big fan of that just seems to hit you harder because of the emotional connection you've made with them.

Personally Leslie's films used to cheer me up if I was feeling down about something, his Frank Drebin never ceased to make me laugh.

Leslie Nielsen made me laugh more then anyone who ever lived.

Police Squad the tv show and the movies are as funny as anything could possibly be except for Airplane. He was perfect in that and I think it was the funniest movie ever created.

I miss him.
