--Best Buy has the following TV Shows on DVD on sale this week:

$14.99:  Dexter:  Season 5

I'm pretty sure they're still filming Season 4, so I don't think S5 is on DVD yet.

Of course 2012 BD would be on sale for $14.99 this week, since I finally caved and bought it at $20.99 a couple weeks back. Watched it tonight and had a great time with an old high school friend, though, so I'm not too fussed about it.

Nothing for me this week.

Thanks as always, Mike.

Not that it's a huge deal, but I wonder why no Curb Your Enthusiasm on BD. The shoot in HD now correct? But either way I'm in for that. Already have Caddyshack BD on pre order. I've got a $10 Target gift card burning a hole in my wallet, so the Braveheart BD on sale there this week looks pretty good.

TV doesn't sell very well on Blu-ray.

Big Bang Theory at Target.  It looks as though Best Buy has Transformers (2.2) and GI Joe (1.3) sets on sale for $14.99 again, not to mention all five Incredible Hulk seasons for $9.99.  I don't hold out a lot of hope about finding them in store, but you never know.

I'll be picking up Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season Seven this week. Shutter Island is probably the best movie I've seen this year (so far) but I'll wait for a better price. Thanks for the prices, guys!

I received Shutter Island a couple of days ago to review. Watched it last night and am working on my review now. The Blu-ray looks fantastic, and it is one of the better movies that I have seen this year as well!

Ultimate Electronics (a retail store in Colorado, at least) has Pirates of the Carribean (bluray) series for $9.99 each -- but the POTC is in old packaging (with the swoosh logo and the "First time in HD!" sticker) so I have the feeling this may be the misframed stock from a few years ago. I'm searching old threads for how to identify corrected stock... Bruce Willis' Surrogates, also $9.99. The Star Trek films for $8.99 each. A few other good deals for catalogue titles.

We just had an Ultimate Electronics store open in our area (Albany, NY).  Ironically (I guess), it moved into the old Circuit City location. I'll have to check it out someday.

Yeah, ours is next to where a Circuit City used to be too. I avoided Ultimate Electronics for years, because it has a sleazy, commission-driven vibe to its electronics sales. But the BluRay section is actually very competitive, with sales typically a couple bucks lower than BestBuy sales. But you never know what will be on sale.

I wonder if they're coming here, too? The newspaper reported recently that developers are close to signing a new tenant for the former Circuit City location in Williston, Vermont. The UE website claims they're expanding.

Amazon has Hot Fuzz on Blu-ray for $9.99, if anyone is interested.
