I can't believe that we still haven't heard of Simon & Simon season 2.. I would have thought that Magnum/Murder She Wrote/ Simon & Simon would go hand in hand.. What gives??

I care! I love Simon & Simon and would love to see the rest of the show released on DVD.

Most likely? They're waiting until after Magnum releases his last set. Remember, the more titles Universal releases, the more profits, from that series, they have to justify to stockholders.

Perhaps season 1 of Simon and Simon didn't sell enough units to justify a release of the others.

Universal has often waited years between season sets, so I wouldn't hit the panic button yet. 2nd season sets of Kojak and Night Gallery are being released in the U.K. this year (can the U.S. be far behind?) and many had given up on those shows seeing the light of day.
