There is finally a trailer available for The 40 Year Old Virgin. I have always love Carell and it looks like it might be pretty good. The trailer is a Yahoo exclusive but if you go to the official site you can link to it.

They ran the trailer with Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It looks pretty funny.

I thought this might be about a friend of mine - he's 39 and still hasn't gone all the way!

Normally I don't go for hollywood-formula comedies as this seems to be but I have been a big fan of Carell's since I first saw him on The Daily Show six years ago, I'll give it a shot.

Can someone tell me who the blond actress working the bookstore is? I recognize her, but can't place the name or where I've seen her.

Oh, yes...Betty Brant. I think she has a Parker Posey vibe in that trailer.

She and Rachel McAdams are the same person:

I saw the trailer for this before Mr. and Mrs. Smith tonight, as well as the one for Red Eye, and I would have thought they were the same actress, as I have for at least the last two years.

Rachel McAdams as the Mean Girl is forever burned in my memory, so that any time I see her in a "nice" roll she looks very different to me.

The TV spots are funny and I'm really looking forward to this one. On a related note, can someone tell me the title and artist of the song that plays in the background of the tv spots?
