Do any of you have the Natalie MacMaster In My Time (SACD/Hybrid)? How is the recording/mix quality? How does it compare to the CD? (note: this album features vocals by Alison Kraus)

Anything I've heard by Rounder is good. There are only 2 vocals on the album out of the 14 cuts, one by Alison Krauss and one by Natalie. I've only briefly listened to the CD layer as I found the midrange to be better on the SACD.

I'm not a real good judge of quality, but both layers sound fine to me. I was just rather shocked that Natalie MacMaster was big enough to get a SACD release, hybrid to boot. Jason

This is one of my all time favorite Super Audios. Posted Image

Rounder always does a good job sonically but I am very impressed with Natalie's performance.

Highly recommended. Posted Image
