Just upgraded to a new Onkyo 600 receiver. I would like to link the new Onkyo to the old receiver to expand my music to other rooms. Already using the B speakers on the new receiver. My question: What A/V output do I use on the new receiver that will output whatever source I want to use; CD, radio, DVD, etc to the old receiver??
Thanks, Luke

If it has pre-outs just hook a pair of wires up to any source on the old receiver. But I don't think the 600 has multi-room, so you can not have 2 different sources at the same time. You will get the same thing in both rooms.

A better choice would be to use the tape record out jacks. These will feed a constant-level signal from whatever source you choose to the second receiver. If you use the pre-out jacks, the volume in the second zone will change every time you adjust the volume control in the first zone.
