Wall mounting speakers (1 Viewer)

Hey guys. I'm moving my speakers from floor mounts to wall mounts. Should the same setup principles by applied to what the sites say about floor towers? Like ear height and all that good stuff and does all that go out the window hanging on the wall? I can imagine imaging could be better

The tweeters of your speakers should always be around ear height.

If your listening is always from the same spot (radius really), you can cheat a little and mount the wall-mounted speakers them higher (or lower) and angle them to aim at the listening position. You'd only want to do this if mounting them at ear height is not possible. If you have carpet you also might want to run a test first, as bouncing off the carpet will be a little different than bouncing off the walls.
