Yep, that's from King Simba on the UK part of the forum, & he must be on the inside as I've never known him to be wrong. I'm not that keen on the cover, but who cares about covers. I just hope it looks very good, not stunning or super sharp, just Hollywood very good, as most films looked in those days.

Can't wait for this one. Can't say I care for the cover art, though.

Stunning, yes. "Super sharp," not necessarily. ;)

Super sharp does not necessarily mean excessively sharp.

Well yes, I was just hoping that MGM don't gild the lilly, like winding in the contrast to get a wow look. It should look great, but in a way that films looked like then, not like it was shot on HD last week...& stay away from that teal/cyan knob! I'm not too worried, this film is too well loved to muck about with., & could be a big seller for them.

It's gotten a full restoration that will premiere at the TCM Film Festival in April, so it should look pretty good.

Very good news indeed. I'm thinking this will coincide with a Father's Day release in North America.

This is good, as are the two recent Woody Allen releases. But I do detect a huge drop in the release of MGM's holdings on Blu-ray.
