The time is approaching where I actually may be able to pull the trigger on one of these beautiful subwoofers within the next month or two. I chose this model mostly due the wood finishing vs the straight black subwoofers. Besides, my family room isn't that big and I don't need anything that going to break windows or move foundations. Im thinking this should be plenty of subwoofer for me in the output department. However, I'm flip-flopping on which finish to choose. Initially, I was leaning towards the Mercury-Red as you can actually see an example of the whole subwoofer in M-R on the SVS website. But then I got to looking closer at the other finishes and can see potential there as well, but would like to see an actual picture of a subwoofer in those finishes. Does anyone out there have a PB12-Plus one of the other finishes that they could post a picture of by chance???? (American-Antique, Natural-Blonde or Pickled-Panel). TIA

Yup,

That's all happening in real time. We're working on partnering with some major suppliers to bring back the wood PB12-Ultra/2 in wood in a big way. We hope to make formal announcements soon, though the supplier selection isn't quite over yet. We'll go forward with pics just as soon as we can.

New prices, new styling, new veneers... same old world-class performance ;^)

So you'll finally be able to get a PB12-Plus/2 in a wood enclosure, and such hot draws as piano gloss black too.

And did someone say PB12-Ultra? Yeah, that too finally. We'll still have our fine textured black finish as an entry level on the PB12-Ultra/2 probably.

Again, we're digging deep here to make sure it's still affordable, with clean elegant lines and a stunning look.

Everyone but our competition will be happy to see them I think ;^)

Look for a full News Page update in the next week or so when we flesh out what we know, what we think, and what we don't know but are working on.

Ron
