THE BIG MOUTH needs to get out on DVD.

It is one of my favorite Jerry Lewis films.

When I go out to Columbia studios next month I
will bring it to their attention.

Any other Lewis product that Columbia owns that
still has not seen the light of day?

Ron,

Don't forget the other fun JL Columbia feature:

Hook, Line & Sinker

I don't think this film has ever been released on video!!

The unreleased on DVD Columbia Jerry Lewis films would include:

Three on a Couch (1966)
The Big Mouth (1967)
Hook, Line and Sinker (1969)

Both "Three on a Couch" and "Hook, Line and Singer" have never had a Home Video Release on any format.

Ok first of all:

The Errand Boy - One of the Greatest Movies of all time not despite the puppet scene but becuase of it.

The Family Jewles - I want to know if the "that is an eye burn" comment made during the shaving scene was adlib and not in the script.

My final comment is a selfish one because although these movies are treasures to me I will not be saticfied till I have The Geisha Boy on DVD.

Right on!

The puppet scenes in THE ERRAND BOY are pure
classic moments. It is the one reason why I
love THE ERRAND BOY so much.

I'm not at all familiar with Jerry Lewis' films (although I thought he was great in King of Comedy) but this collection looks really good. I'd like to first sample one or two of the best. Can anyone give recommendations?

I'm sure others will say something else, but I'm going with 'The Stooge', but that's IMO. I think I fell out of my chair ROFL watching that more than any of the others.

You reaize that right now, you're only going to get it on tape, or on the tube, if you're lucky.

Douglas,

You will get many different opinions, but I
would highly suggest....

* The Nutty Professor
* Cinderfella
* The Errand Boy

Those are my three personal favorites and
you can't go wrong with any of these. Buy all three.

In "The Disorderly Orderly", there's a scene where Jerry is wheeling a patient completely wrapped in bandages "Mummy" style for a daily stroll. When he accidently tips the guy over and he goes running after him, it's one of the funniest moments I've ever seen in a comedy.

October 12th cannot get here quickly enough.

Those are some of his best movies. But, if "Who's Minding the Store?" and "The Big Mouth" don't make it to DVD, then there will be a big hole on everyone's shelf in the Jerry Lewis section. Two hilarious comedy classics.

I ordered The Errand Boy, The Bellboy, and the Nutty Professor, which are three of my all-time favorite classic comedies (outside of early Marx Bros. and Abbott and Costello).

The Errand Boy has so many memorable scenes...the puppet, the board room, the elevator, on and on. Can't wait!

Any news on Rock-a-Bye Baby?

Am enjoying the recently released Jerry Lewis films, but two vintage titles that I REALLY want are:

Don't Give Up the Ship
Visit To a Small Planet

On the Family Jewels DVD they have an extremely cute segment with the little girl in the film doing a screen test with Jerry Lewis and Jerry keeps trying to trip her up and get her confused with his questions to her. It is a really great segment and the film is also pure Lewis magic!
