Paul,
The trailer on the Black Hawk Down and Ali DVDs is the "Who am I?" trailer that features music by E.S. Postumous. (That's the one I love.)
As far as I know, the WTC trailer is unavailable on DVD.

I found this interview with Sam Raimi and Laura Ziskin. Here is an interesting part:

DVDialogue: (from David Heel of "TV Mosquito", Sweden): "Hello Mr. Raimi. I'm a video specialist at this interview about the issue of the DVD, so I'd like to know how much you were involved in the conception of the DVD, which had previewed yesterday and why? The thing everybody is waiting for is not on the DVD and in the internet trailer of Spider-Man?"

Sam Raimi: "Oh, I see. Laura, maybe you could answer some of that question …[Ms. Ziskin is] our producer…"

Laura Ziskin, Producer: "Do you mean the teaser trailer that had the World Trade – the Twin Towers?"

DVDialogue: (from David Heel of "TV Mosquito", Sweden): "Yes, of course."

Laura Ziskin: "You know, I'm sure there was much debate. It was really a decision that I think that the studio made and we loved that teaser, and it was very effective and obviously, after the events of 9/11, it felt inappropriate to us.

"So you know, for me, I think it might have been a kind of… It was that debate about 'is it a historic thing that you would want to keep or is it an exploitive thing' and I think discretion was the better part of valor and the decision was made not to include it. But I mean, it's interesting that you wished it was there, yes?"

DVDialogue: (from David Heel of "TV Mosquito", Sweden): "Yes, I think everybody does. I may be wrong of course, but by not putting it on the DVD, you grew the interest for it. It will become something everyone's looking for."

Laura Ziskin: "That's really interesting. I think it was – it was a tough decision, you know, I think we felt, even with the movie, obviously we left the Twin Towers in the cityscape of New York. We felt strongly about that although we understood that with some movies, they took them out.

"We didn't feel that that scene – there was something about that aircraft, you know, it was a helicopter in proximity to the Twin Towers, painful for me to look at. Just me personally. So I, that made it difficult, so I'm interested. This is the first I've heard, you know, that point of view expressed and it's interesting. You know, I guess it was just a choice that the studio made."
