can anyone tell how to rid of halo effect on rptv i have also heard them called crop circles could someone tell me what they are i have tried avia no effect is there changes i can make in my service menu thanks

Lining the inside of your RPTV with black cloth can help, as well as removing the clear protective screen (aka the glare enhancer).

You can't get rid of halo though. Doing the above will make the halo smaller, but may also make it sharper.

I believe halo is caused by internal lens reflection. They use cheap lenses on CRT RPTVs it seems.
