Polks - If you can find them to audition look for some Polk LSi series speakers (I pesonally like the LSi9). They would go very well with your Denon.

Currently, my 3802 is relegated solely to processing duties as I am using outboard amplification. The amps are hooked up to a pair of Axiom M50s, a pair of Axiom M3s and an Axiom VP150.

Currently I have the bargain confgiuration: An AVR-1802 combined with HTD Level III speakers (towers in front, bookshelves in rear). It's adaquete and sounds good enough for the money. Next time around it'll be something a lot higher-end.

Denon 3300 matched to Monitor Audio Silver 5i speakers. These speakers are a tremendous value! The clarity and detail is shocking for speakers that retail for $999 a pair.

They are know as being slighly on the bright side, and the Denon seems to be a perfect match for these speakers. A Yamaha, for example, made these a little too bright, in my opinion.

Denon 5700 driving Klipsch reference 3 series all the way around (series I, not II). Potential for any upgrade to the 7s.....maybe!

Sub is a 6-7 year old Klipsch SW-12 Series 2. Great sub....just old in the tooth. Eventual move to Veloydne HGS18 sooner than later!

Guess I can add to this post now that I have ordered my 3802:

Infinity Interlude IL60 4-ways - each speaker has a 12" sub that is powered by 500 watt amp in each.

IL 36C center - This thing is HUGE!!

IL 10s for surrounds.

JBL PSW-D115 500watt 15" sub.

May be re-using my Technique dipole surrounds as well now that 7.1 is available.
